Have any of you guys sold a vehicle on e-bay? What do they charge for it? My dad wants to sell his car, and I have no idea about selling it on e-bay. Thanks in advance for any advice you guys have on doing this.

What does this have to do with diesel trucks? If he can sell his existing vehicle, he will join our ranks with a new CTD. Come on, help this TDR member get his ol man into a truck of his own, so he can quit driving mine.

I just sold my Grand National on eBay. It costs $40 to list, and then figure about $10 more in miscellaneous fees. They were supposed to charge another $35 once my reserve was met, but never did. My invoice was $47.

I think eBay is better for hard to find vehicles than common ones. When I was looking for my Dodge I looked on eBay a little, but it was a PIA because there were so many Dodges to sift through.

If you dont mind me asking, what did you get for it?

I used to have a GN, but I sold it to my little brother.

I really miss that car. :(

I got 9k for it. It had 78k miles and many mild bolt-ons, it would run low 12's. The paint was the main downfall of it, but it had no rust and a nice interior. I just didnt have time for it anymore. I will get another some day for sure

Ahhh, wet roads. I tell you guys you havent driven at all if you havent tried a GN on wet roads.

Imagine when they were new and people drove them in the winter? :--)

That was my only car from 1987 until I got the CTD in December 97.

When I call it a daily driver, I mean it!!

It had over 100K miles on it when I sold it. Paint was good, interior was excellent/like new.

All it really needed was an exhaust system.

It got over 21MPG if I did my part, and when I didnt, it would still bark the tires realy nicely @ the 50MPH gear shift (2nd to 3rd? )when entering a highway.

Yep I was all :D :D :D :D when a close uncle took me for a ride in his GN. Bone stock that thing was IMPRESSIVE. To this day I still want one for my daily driver/commuter. Funny how the GN and 5. 0 Mustangs were always racing together yet bone stock the GN would smash a 5. 0.
