I had it in my 00 for about 11mo. before I sold it. No problems. I went to a 4# cap like they told me, and never had to add any fluid. I used the NPG+. I will be changing my 03 over to it next spring. With the hi egt's I was running while towing, my water temps would get to 220* to 230*, after the Evans, I never saw over 210*.

OK, I am now ready to take the plunge into NPG+. How many gallons did you have to buy? (7)

Some people are using the 7lb pressure cap and others are using the zero pressure cap.

I wonder which is better? My first choice was the Zero pressure cap, but then after reading comments from others have chosen the 7 lb cap. hum-mm

I ordered 2 cases, 8 gal. When I called, they had me talk to a guy who worked there that drove a Dodge CTD, he had a 99, and recommended the 4# cap, thats all I can tell ya.

If you don't have their site, its www.evanscooling.com

They tell you to get "all the water" out of your system, as it will degrade the NPG. The flush they reccomend is pricey,"drain all coolant, refill half way with NPG+, run for short period, drain, and refill".

Larry

Really, fill half way and flush again. I thought the water will evaporate away and then just top off.

At 25 bucks a gallon I cant see my sell throwing away that kind of money on flushing out water.
