anyone try the 610 cp3 on the 555

anyone have an 06 cp3 on an 03, i am thinking about trying to install a cp3 for a 610 motor on my 03 ho, any suggestions or info would help, i will also try the rokktech crank sensor

Contacted the dealer and was told the CP3 is the same for 03 & 04, with 05 & 06 being a different part #. The dealer could not tell me what the differences were. Looking at replacing or modifying the CP3.



03 3500 Dually, SLT Laramie, 6Spd, +60Hp Performance Injectors, 5" exhaust Donaldson muffler, Volant air filter, BD exhaust brake, BD/Carter lift pump, etc.

A fellow at work has been down 4 weeks waiting on a cp3. had the update lift pump installed (in tank) as well. I was told the new cp3 pump was updated . I don't now. I do know that he is not happy driving his old ps with 150,000 miles while paying for a dodge thats sitting.

I HAVE A NEW NOT REMANNED CP-3 FOR A 610 MOTOR, I HAVE IT IN PIECES, I HAVE MODDED A COUPLE OF SMALL THINGS ALREADY,,, THE REST OF IT IS IN A MACHINE SHOP BEING INSPECTED FOR OTHER POSSIBLE MODS... . , I HAVE NOT HAD MY 555 CP3 APART YET TO TRY TO FIND A DIFFERENCE, HOWEVER I AM LEARNING A GREAT DEAL ABOUT THIS LITTLE PUMP... .

All of those model years update to the same part#. There does not look like any differences mechanicaly but Bosch does not have to change much to change part#.
