Anyone up in the High Desert?

Are there any groups or associations up the High Desert, Acton, Santa Clarita area?



I am getting ready to start doing so minor mods to my truck and would like to line up some resouces, tech help, in case I get into a bind.

I think there is a few So Cal Rattlin Rams members who live up in that area. You should come to our get together this coming weekend July 17th. You will learn allot and meet plenty of people that are willing to help. Later Dwayne

I am going to try and make it, but that would be about 4 hours of driving not counting the visiting time, hard to give up with a baby at home right now and lots of work around the "farm".

But, my wife wants to look at a horse in Temecula, so I think I just found my excuse to take a drive down there.

Hey there Horsepuller. There is a local chapter in Antelope Valley called the Diesels In The Desert. I have just recently got to know some of the members - nice group. But they aren't online so you won't find them here. In fact, a group of them are helping me put on the First Annual High Desert Diesel Roundup and Sled Pull on Sept. 19th in Agua Dulce. The group meets every 3rd Thusday of the month at Carrows in Lancaster. But some of us have been getting together more often preparing for the event. Feel free to PM me and I can fill you in more. I am also a So Cal Rattlin' Rams member and am attending their event this coming Saturday. But make sure you come to the High Desert Diesel Roundup on Sept. 19th. There will be some impressive trucks there and its just up the road for you. Go here for the event

Very cool. I had read about the sled pull somewhere on here and was planning on attending. That sounds like a lot of fun. And more than likely, I will be visiting the Rattlin Rams this weekend. I'll shoot you an e-mail re: Diesels in the Desert, just what I was looking for.
