Using B1 in twins?

exh. brake and backpressure?

i have a 98 12v 4x4 and the transmission has been bad for about 100,000 miles  and am looking into different options with it. i am meeting with greg at great lakes diesel this week about a dtt, but was also looking into a stick conversion to, then a friend told me about dunrite transmissions and they seem to pe pretty decent with there knowladge and looks pretty simple to put in. is this a good idea or is there problems that i have not heard about dunrite? i would like to stay away from putting $4000 dollars into a transmission but they do drive like a dream. any input would be great about any different trannys you used and how they are working. this is also my work truck and sees some pretty rough abuse.

Just put a dunrite triplelock converter, valve kit, and billet output shaft in my 96 dually. I went through two rebuilds with "heavy duty" parts that failed at 144K and at 66K. I fired my rebuilder. Next place I went has had experience with pumped up CTD's. We discussed ATS and BD, but I just couldn't afford it. We got a deal on parts from dunrite (I still took out a $5K loan for parts and labor!) Lifetime guarantee on the converter. It is a pleasure to drive now! Also lockup in 2nd and 1st.

I had my transmission completely rebuilt with new clutches and seals including the single disc dunrite converter and their transbuddy valve body kit. Its been in for almost 10k now with no problems, shifts firm, doesnt slip, runs cool so far it has been all I'd hoped for.

You talked about ATS and BD, and hopefully DTT and could not afford it, and then spent 5K on another transmission. Something does not add up right with that. Love my new DTT. SNOKING

yes i looked at ats, bd, suncosast, ect but cant justify putting that much into a transmission i dont like all that much, and its getting some big modifications down the road, like a 8. 3 and 9 spd with luck. but would like a cheap and easy fix for the meantime. when i did the search i didnt get what i was looking for so i wanted some input on how the dunrite drove, if it had any problems? just the little stuff after the install oh and how hard it was to put in. i would love to just put a 5spd in it but cant find any junk trucks around for donor trucks.
