i have a 98 12v 4x4 and the transmission has been bad for about 100,000 miles
and am looking into different options with it. i am meeting with greg at great lakes diesel this week about a dtt, but was also looking into a stick conversion to, then a friend told me about dunrite transmissions and they seem to pe pretty decent with there knowladge and looks pretty simple to put in. is this a good idea or is there problems that i have not heard about dunrite? i would like to stay away from putting $4000 dollars into a transmission but they do drive like a dream. any input would be great about any different trannys you used and how they are working. this is also my work truck and sees some pretty rough abuse.
