I see where my Wal mart carries the Lucus Fuesl treatment that comes in the individual "Shot" bottles. Seems like it is only a lubricant, not Cetain booster like the PS etc... Anyone ever used it? Results? THanks!Oo.

Almost all fuel additives are designed to do 2 specific things... . 1 - lower the gel point of the fuel, 2 - lubricate and cleanse the fuel system..... it might add a point or two to the cetain rating of your fuel but don't expect to see fuel mileage increase... . it just won't do that... .

I run it and like it. I use it in my big rig with a 650 hp+ engine and you can tell when you're not running it. It's just smoother, quieter and runs better with it than without it. Its not an antigel. It's an upper cylinder lubricant together with cleaners that keep the fuel system clean and working correctly. I buy it by the case of 4 gallons each, 3 - 4 cases at a time back in Iowa. $16. 25 per gallon buying that way there. I use 1 quart per 100 gallons just like it says on the jug and wouldn't spend that kind of $$$ on it if I didn't think it worked. I use it in my '06 CTD QC LB SRW 4x4 6 speed as well. I guess the proof is in the pudding and I consistently get over 20 mpg w/ my truck running 65 - 70 mph. I think I'll keep using it.

Use It in conjunction w/PS- more lubrication and more cetane and also some peace of mind- since I HAVE TO RUN ULSD

Run it in everything I own, everything seems to run smoother with it in. In the diesel I alternate it with a good fuel injector cleaner like stanadyne or power service.
