I have a set of these on my rig. http://www.centramatic.com/index.html

I am very pleased with them. Looking at your site, my guess is that their product might be made by Centramatic. If you go to the Centramatic site I have included, they have a very nice demo video that will help you make up your mind. They work very well and I can say without a doubt, that my tries are getting much better life and wear now than before. You will not be making a mistake if you get a set of them. ;) I see that Master balance only offers a 100 day warranty. The set of Centramatics that I have came with a unconditional 5 years warrantly. ;)

HMMmmm - those DO look interesting - might consider them for both the truck and 5th wheel - anyone have any negative comments about them?

I went to their web site... Says they're filled with Mercury. I wonder what would happen if you get hit in that area...

Mercury??!!

I wonder how they're doin' that when the EPA and state agencies are trying to block the sale of mercury thermometers, let alone mercury in batteries. Granted these things aren't as fragile as a thermo but they must contain a good amount. :--) BTW, the main risks from mercury exposure per gov't agencies is #1 breathing the vapor from a spill, #2 contaminating a beverage/food with it (trace amounts - its not gonna mix in!!) and lastly skin contact.

There is no Mercury in these. If you want to see carnage, put Mercury on Aluminum and watch what happens. It (the aluminum) falls apart. This is one big reason why you wont see Mercury used on airplanes.

From Balance master's own web site, "How it works" section: The major components of the balance masters are the ring and the fluid (mercury), both an integral part of what makes the balancer work. Both work in cooperation and are precisely proportioned in order for the physics to function properly

I just installed these Centramatic balancers on my truck today. My 35's seemed to be balanced fine, then I installed these (I am a gadget nut) and all I can say is Wow. Wierd but it works. I will now buy a set for my Motorhome, it needs these in the front.

The paper work suggested that the A balancers were for the front and the B balancers were for the rears. On my 03 the reverse was true.

I believe the Balance masters is a different product. The centramatic uses beads with an oil bath in the outer ring per their tech section on the website . The balance masters are made from steel and use mercury for the balance media.

I was wondering about the mercury as well and visited that website a couple of weeks ago.

That is amazing  how can they get away with using Mercury  Centramatics like I have don't have Mercury.

They are considered a commercial application... you can still get mercury thermometers (which are more accurate) but it is for non-general public use... mercury isn't "outlawed", just banned in certain uses... just like asbestos and PCBs... they are banned from certain uses, but they are still used in commercial and industrial applications.

I think I'm going to buy a set of centramatics after the first of the year.
