Shift kit?

Installed fuel pressure meter

Most the people I've met (Tim the Toolman and TorqueThis like their DTT's) but I'm not sure I'll be able to make the trip to get it done. Janetty racing deals with BD and Pro Torque. So I was thinking of one of these options. I know one person who wasn't thrilled with their Pro Torque and shift kit combo but I was hoping to get more opinions.

Thanks in advance.

road trip!

Make the trip to get the DTT installed. You will grin all the way home!:D Do it right the first time. You will be glad you did.

DTT in my '98, DTT ordered for my '03!:D Can't wait!Oo.

I have a pro torque converter I believe it is a Ptc 592 ls and it is junk it slips and shudders as much as my stock one so a full dtt trans is going in this month this is only my opinion don't take it personal just my 2cents Aaron

I have 82000 mi. on my truck, 42000 with a pro torque converter, I'm no spokes person for protorque, and will probably wind up going with DTT, when It dies... BUT I gotta tell you, with almost 900ft lbs of torque(my box lives on 3x5) and a 8200lbs truck(110gal fuel tank, chains, tools) my transmission has never missed a beat, I have never pulled through my converter. One other thing I sit In NYC traffic every single day. DTT, ATS might be better... but I can't say anything bad about my pro torque.

Sam,

I have talked to a few people who have done the BD transmission upgrades and they have been very happy with it.

I went with DTT because the only trucks I could test drive were DTT modified.

When the DTT parts went in, the ENTIRE transmission was removed, cleaned, and refitted with alot of new parts. The few quotes I got on other transmission rebuilds was basically a new VB, TC, and fluids. I am sure if you ask for more they will do it but cost much more.

Massdiesel had my truck done in 1 day. I got to watch the entire rebuild and was TOTALLY impressed with his worksmanship.

Take a weekend and go see Scott, it is well worth it!!!!
