Since you asked for an explanation about high horse first, here you go. According to Webster's, "high horse" - an arrogant and unyielding mood or attitude.
I never said I needed or that I wanted a detector to drive over the posted limit. I commute 150 miles, one way, several times a month. I drive with the flow of traffic, often times traveling 5 or so, over the posted 70. Every day I see a number of people driving well over that. In most cases, 5 over won't attract any attention, but every once and awhile it will get you stopped. I simply want to avoid that and want to know when I'm being checked.
A much bigger danger is the jack *** that decides he will regulate everyones speed and sets his/her cruise at the posted limit and parks in the left lane, also known as the passing lane in Washington. Which happens to be against the law too.
C,mon fess up...do you drive a Prius?
No Prius, sorry to disappoint.
I don't think this thread is anything about 5 mph over, nice try. Your explanation for wanting a radar may be valid , but get real, we both know what the intent is for most wanting a radar detector. Getting pulled over on an interstate for 5 over, you have a better chance at the lottery
