It is getting to be time to replace my oem Michelin LTX m/s tires (adequate milage (56k) but can't move on wet grass). I ran into Costco and Sam's Club online with BFG 265/75-16e commercial xlt all season tires for just over $120 each compared to about 180 for Michelins. I haven't been able to find any discussion about the BFG in searches today. I would go for Michelin's commercial Ribs if they only came in my size. BFG is also coming out with a comparable commercial traction version in 4Q 2005 that is supposed to be a kicker in rain and deep snow.

Would like to hear from you if you have tried these tires.

TIA.

Highly recommended!

I've been running the BFG Commercial T/A all seasons and they're much much better than the OEM Goodyears that came with the truck. They're wearing very even and survived our (truck camper) round trip to Alaska and back to Pa. last summer with flying colors. I run the stock size 235/85 16 E.

Want a commercial tire? Run these... . Though you will have to get new rims... .

The michellin 245/70R 19. 5" "F" Rated 12 ply tire... . On Ricksons 6. 75" X 19. 5 Forged aluminum "Eliminator" rim.

This is a side by side comp. The tire on the left is the 265 Michellin "E" tire, the right is the New 19. 5 tire.

I've been running the BFG Commercial M/S for about a year now on the back. They've done very well so far and dont show much wear.
