Revo's all the way, on my second set! Took about a . 5-1mpg hit but the wet traction is unbelievable!

Another vote for Revo's and their rain and snow traction. I have used these Bridgestone tires on my truck, my wifes TBlazer, my daughter's Jeep Cherokee and my son's Durango. Most of our miles are in northern Michigan with a good number in western Montana. There is no better all season tire for snow.

I decided to use this old thread, rather than just keep starting new one after new one which is most often the case.

I dont have any problem pn general with the MICHELIN name. I'm just suggesting that on a case by case situation there may be better tires... ..... and for less money per mile.

Once again my DODGE Ram 3500 Quad Cab/Long Bed is a 2WD !

I am now considering buying the GENERAL TIRE (owned by German tire mfg CONTINENTAL) GRABBER HTS Load Range E 265x70x17.

This HIGHWAY tire with some All-Terain attributes, bested all the other brands last year with Consumer Reports. It also ranks # 1 at Tire Rack - Your performance experts for tires and wheels

There have been some very complimentary comments written on the Grabber HTS

Even though my Michelin A/S's have 8/32 thread left, I'd rather sell them as they are, mounted on the chrome clad steel OEM wheels. I have them on Seattle CRAIG's list now.

I now have bought 05/06 polished aluminum OEM wheels and would rather start over with new tires.

Home - Discount Tire Direct (different from Discount Tire retail) has best overall price including FREE shipping and NO sales tax. Then Discount (locally) will mount, air with nitrogen, balance and rotate for $20 each.

Thanks for reading and relating YOUR experience..... I expect to be flamed from this MICHELIN Biased group, buy never the less wanted to voice my thoughts... ... ... ...

I don't think you'll get flamed by anyone. Use what works for you. Your the one paying for the tires and until someone offers to do that for you, then run the tires you like. Everyone has an opinion of what works good for them in their situation. I think some people's suggestions are crazy, and they may think my suggestions are crazy too. That's why you ask for people's opinions--use the ones you like and learn from them all--you'll be a more informed buyer!!!
