I have been using Evans NPG+ for 22K miles. You should have no seal issues. Here is an exert from Evan's website.

The engine in this Dodge Ram is a 5. 9 Liter, 245 Horse Power, Cummins Diesel. It was modified with a Banks Turbo kit and went straight to Evans NPG yielding a 5% increase in fuel mileage. Owned by our own chief diesel tech, he expects greater performance following further optimization to engine and transmission components. "



The engine will run cooler in the winter and run cooler when you turn up the power. A few others have noticed the heater works quicker in the winter with Evans. I know of about 60 Power Strokes and just a handful of Duramaxs & 6. 5s running NPG+. The guys that are towing heavy with the 6. 5s like the cooling ability. One negative with Evans would be the radiator adding heat to the trans cooler in the summer.



Make sure when you change over to remove all of the old coolant. Flush your engine a couple times.

You can check this link from Evan's website . http://www.evanscooling.com/main31.htm then go to Dealers . You might be able to pick it up locally and save on shipping charges. I bought mine from this website http://lubespecialist.com/ . I paid $20 a gallon. You should get a price beak if you are going to buy 55-100 gallons. I bought 8 gallons at one time with a $1 per gallon price break.

besides the low bubble forming effect the best part is the zero or low pressure that the coolant system runs at . . when you switch to evans you replace your factory rad cap with a zero pressure or low like 5psi pressure cap . . i think guys using copper head gaskets would benefit from this a lot. . later

come on Rick, the coolant on the hotrods have been bomb for 6 years. I use the propolyne glycol with no water, but beware the temps will run hotter, but the engine CAN run hotter because of no Hot Spots. the prop glyc does boil til 360 i believe. Water will boil crazy soon and will boil next to the exhaust vavle and cause cracking. i run zero pressure, but u have to use a larger overflow cause it expands twice as much.
