hey guys just wondering if anyone has changed to a kore steering stabilizer and how is it feel compared to stock? ive got a leveling kit air bags in rear and 35's im getting alot of hop and skip when i go over a bumpy or uneven road and the steering wheel wants to move side to side. so i figured a good steering stabilizer would fix it any suggestions?

thanks

Not yet, but that is on my list of goodies I want from Kent when funds make themselves available.

FWIW, I think your bigger problem might be the spacers and not the stabilizer. Most on here would recommend full coils over the spacer. I've got KORE coils with the stock stabilizer and no issues.

I have one, it seems to work ok, it's loaded with a few hundred psi so when you lift the front tires off the ground it pushes the steering to one side. I think they should sell a duel front kit so the front stays centered.

I've got one on a 05 3500 and it works great. The stabilizer does have alot of pressure and it was causing my truck to pull to the left. I contacted Kore and they told me to lower the pressure and it would fix the problem. This was done and the problem was fixed.

Hey Guys,

The steering stabilizer comes from KORE with the high pressures to add adjustability. Nothing new here, just let a little air out until it seems right. Some guys have said they are all the way down to 50 psi from the 200 it comes charged at. The key is to have the steering dampend from cross latteral diflection. Not to make the truck run straight down the road. That is what alignment is for!

Hey Greg,

I thought in a earlier post you said,

"A Kore steering stabilizer is designed to counteract the factory pull to the right. They are completly adjustable from 200 to 75 psi"

That's what most dodge owners need to go stright down the road.

So your saying it is, it isn't?

I have the DRC race system. I put the steering stabilizer on last (after alignment). The Bilstien (sp? - I never can get i before e right) stabilizer induced a pretty extreme pull to the left. I am still trying to adjust the air in the thing. The air charge is so small it is a pain in the butt - just getting a gauge on and off releases a significant amount of air. My truck was tracking beautifully after the alignment from PAB here in Tucson (those guys are good). They were also interested in the KORE parts - I gave 'em Greg's phone number but I am not sure what came of it. They wanted my feedback on the system, and especially the steering stabilizer (they all rode in my truck while they had it, so they experienced the rest of the system). I was hoping to get it adjusted to the point that their alignment was not affected so I could tell them it was no problem. Still working on it.

I would personally prefer an alignment to do it's job, and a steering stabilizer to do it's job (only dampen steering inputs from the wheels).
