Anyone out here have the RECON Tail lights on their rig? I was thinking about getting a pair and would like some feedback. They are plug and play right? No load balancers or resistors needed? Any "Lamp out" indicator? Are they brighter than the stock setup? How's the build quality? Are you using the white LED buld for the reverse as well? Are the white LED reverse bulbs bright enough? I've seen the RECON units and then on Ebay there seems to be cheaper versions available. I recently added a pair of military amber LED lights to the rear of my rig. I have the fabfours bumper which has the fabfour logo cut out on each side, I placed them behind the logo's... . They are bright. Wired into the trailer harness so when I indicate it does so... . And if I brake they both light up, And if I brake and indicate the indicating side flashes and the other side is on. Eventually I'll go LED throughout. I'll post some pics of the new military lights tomorrow.

Cheers!

Using APC (American Products Co) bought 2+years ago. Very bright and I've had no issues. I think all rigs should be factory LED. AND HID headlights. .

I am running their smoked cab lights, side marker, 3rd brake light, and tail lights. They are all suppose to be plug and play. The tail lights and 3rd brake lights certainly are and I have not had any issue with them. On the cab and side markers, I cut all the connectors off and soldered them. They seemed to always wiggle loose. No problems after soldering.

I have the smoked tail lights, they seem good. They were plug and play for me. No "Lamp out" indicator. I dont think they are any brighter then stock, I have the back up 'bulbs' too. The clear versions might be brighter.
