What tires did you go with and what do you think of them? I'm pretty sure I want to get the rims but I'm having a tough time deciding on a tire. I was going to go 245's as I was told that the 265's grab the cracks in the road and have a little wander to them. Too bad since I would like the extra height and slowing the motor down a few more rpm's at cruising speed. What have you guys found??

I used the 245's in Michelin XDE's and would have no trouble using the 225's next time like Rickson recommends. Think of those big wheel/short sidewall set ups everywhere and realize that it improves cornering etc. It is not a "ride" issue with more rubber because ride is not why you buy 19. 5's. Make sense? George

Thanx for the input George! My dad always told me you can't go wrong with Michelin's, he has liked that brand as long as I can remember. I also want to stay with a nud snow rated tire and the XDE's are.

I have the 285's and you need a 2 inch lift to run them. I have them at 110 psi with the camper on. Its rough but the truck was always rough. with 285s you have a very limited selection of tires but you can get 14 ply h 6400lb rated tires. If you get those you can throw your spare in the trash
