hey fellers. thinking about going from stock to 4" exhaust. i live in a neighborhood and pretty much know im going to need to have some kind of muffler on whatever exhaust i get. i checked out the page for the Silent Might muffler and read its claims, just wondering if anyone is using it or knows someone using it and whether the results are there. particularly how it claims that it is designed and or tuned by and acoustical engineer and that it also has less resistance than a straight pipe at certain rpm. any input would be appreciated.

I have one on my truck, it is louder than stock, but not annoying and no drone. I also removed the cat, It was also easier to install that way.

As far as the the technical aspects, I couldn`t tell you. Everyone likes the way it sounds though.

Where do you live, maybe you can get a test drive :)

Any idea on how the sound level compares to the type of straight through muffler that is supplied with many of the exhaust systems, such as the one from Rip?
