I am needing to put some steps on my truck. Last night my wife hurt her knee when climbing out of the rig (knee swelled up pretty bad, she could not hardly walk today even, she twisted it). Well to make a long story short she says that the truck must get steps.

Some that I am looking at are n-fab

I was wondering if any of ya'll are using these? Or if you have any suggestions for others? I am wanting one that drops down enough to make it purposeful, she is about 5 foot 5 inch. The step does not need to be the strongest thing in the world, i do not plan on using it as apoint to jack up the truck or anything of that nature. It only needs to be built secure and strong enough to be used for the purpose of a step.

I havent seen these before, but try a site named "pickupspecialties.com" for a good selection, and great prices. They also happen to be in Houston TX. I'm not affiliated, just a happy customer. Good folks to deal with... ..... Sarge

My wife loves mine,

and so do I. I like the fact that they are tucked up under the rocker panel, but the steps are low enough to help you up. Lot's of people comment on how they like them. No regrets.

I was looking at those, like them very much found out that they sell them at 4WheelParts so I called them and at a price of 450+ I decided to pass and am having a friend build me a set similer to them. Now he just needs to get working on them and Ill post pics when I get them on, who knows it might be like a month or so before I get them but Ill wate so I dont have to pay that price.

I looked through the whole gallery of the n-fab website and looked all through the page with the nerf bars. Not once did I see the word Dodge or a pic of a Dodge with the steps. They mention Ford, Nissan, Toyota and Chevy/GMC. Do they even make these for our trucks? There's no application chart.

If you just want a step and not the bars, check these out. They're Warn 4xsteps and they're coated with plastic so they won't corrode.

nfab does make bars for Dodge's, I am considering them for my truck when it gets here so I emailed them a few questions and got a response the next morning. They do color match for an extra charge and the bars do not attach to the frame.

N-Fab bars are absolutely first rate. They are the same ones I will be going with. I have seen several of them mounted on the new Dodge's and they look great.

WARN 4X4 STEPS

I cruised the Warn Site and they listed the dealers for my region but the closest dealer is still 100 miles away. I live in the Semi-Remote Redneck Riviera Region of the Florida Panhandle. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can order online? Warn does not sell direct. Thanks in advance.

I have the Go Rhino Sumatra 6000's on my truck. I got the wheel-to-wheel full length ones that are not modular. They are fairly close to the body of the truck and make an excellent step.

Yes ... I drove from St. Louis to Houston to pick these up. I love the tucked up look. As they attach to the body lip, they are somewhat flexy, but serve the purpose.
