I'm looking for a solid g/n hitch. I had the B&W in my last pickup. Good product except for the having to get in and out of the bed to flip the ball. Had a rust problem with the powdercoat too. Still very solid.



Does this have the strength of the others? Looks a little suspect with all the weight being on the "retractable arm". Would be nice to just raise and lower it from the outside though.

I installed one of these hitches a few years ago for my brother in-law. The installation was fairly much like a B&W and it seems to be a strong hitch. Only draw back I've seen with it is that the ball sticks in the tube from road/bed debris and makes it difficult to move up and down. Just keep it clean and lubricated.
