Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
I had a party over at my house the other day, one of my good friends just bought a half ton dodge with the off road package (basically a bunch of stickers, a lift and 4. 10 gears). He started in on me after a few beers about how his truck has more pulling power than mine since he has 4. 10 gears versus my 3 somethings. I let him go with it, and after a few more beers and some ogling from the rest of my friends he CHALLENGED ME TO A DRY PAVEMENT PULLOFF. Since we didn't have a strap, I just doubled up a piece of 3/8" chain, we backed out onto the road, threw her in four low and let her rip.
Well now the neighbors are mad at me because we had eight tires spinning at the same time, and we pretty much painted the road black. It looks like an 18 wheeler locked em up on the road. I do have to say that the half ton frames are pretty flimsy, his whole truck was jerking and flexing all over the place. His cab and box were almost hitting..... may have had something to do with his tires spinning forward at 15 mph and his truck was going backwards at about 20 mph... ...
Sad thing about it was that his wife caught the whole thing on video, she gave me a copy of the tape, and I think I can get a guy at work to make an MPEG for me. If anyone is interested in seeing that let me know, (or if anyone want's to put it on a website that would be better, I don't have the bandwidth to handle many emails like that... . ) if there's enough interest I'll get it done!!
