any of you 04. 5 owners running a htb2 turbo with a auto? i need a turbo to drop my egt's wit the edm's and ez. how does it spool? what were you results egt wise? thanks... . james :D

tobaccogrower... what temps are you getting up to and how much of a reduction are you looking for? I'm going to to skip the htb2 all together and get the next step up the killerb2. From everything that I have read about the HTB2 spool up is as quick as the little stocker and should offer about 150 -200 drop in temps.

I'm running a htb2-62/12

If you put enough fuel to it. It will spool as fast as stock and lower your egts a bunch. I run the 1/4 with tst on 9/9 and egts approach 1400*F.

The larger 66/14 will take more fuel to spool. I'm thinking arround 600 hp.

The 62/12 is a great single turbo for the street at 450-525hp.

right now when i pull my boat i run about 700* on the flat but soon as i get into some hills i will run 1300-1500* no problem! i think if i could shave 200* off i'd be ok. i think i'm in the 430hp area with the edge ez and edm 80 hp injectors... james :D

A htb2 62/12 or B1-04 would cool things down but you may want to turn your power down a little when towing.

I tow on level 3/3. This should be under 400 hp.
