Anyone with a lowered 3rd gen SRW?

Hey guys ive been wondering how a truck like mine looks lowered. Has anyone lowered there srw truck yet? Please post the pics.

XcX given the straight axle on the front of your rig there is limited clearance for suspension travel and lowering a 4x4 isn't very feasible.

Hmm, Thats odd a couple days ago on the highway i saw a dually 4x4 3rd gen VERY low. It looked awesome. I couldnt beleive it.

Are you pretty sure it was 4x4? I've seen quite a few 4x2 duallys, I like the way they sit.

Mine has a 2" leveling kit with 35's i sit pretty high. I was just wondering how a srw would look. Vaughn it had the 4x4 decals on the back

I want to lower my 4x4, too, for 5th wheel clearance.



Would it be possible to use 4x2 springs?

Nick the way to do it then is remove the leveling kit spacers from the front coils and put smaller spacers in the back between the rear axle and springs. I don't know if anyone makes smaller blocks or not though. Hopefully this wouldn't cause rubbing problems with 35s. Maybe do running boards or Nerf bars instead.



Anyone know if they'are 4"? Replace them with 2"?

Well if i did it the 35's would be changed to a small tire. Without my 2" spacer i rub. But with my stock 265's i went all the way up to 315's (they rubbed on the arms) And i know some of these truck came with 245's. So from going to a 315 to a 245 is an overal reduction in size by about 4". So would that mean i could drop the truck at least 2" from its stock form. ? i know if the tire drop is 4" you have to divide that by 2 for the height right?
