Did you try pugging into the Uconnect box itself? There is an identical "CD changer" jack on the Uconnect box itself, which is located behind the glove compartment. If you bypass the Uconnect (like you are doing by plugging the XM into the radio, and then the Uconnect into the XM pass-thru) then the Uconnect cannot control the audion source. It seems logical that hooked up that way the Uconnect would be trying to talk over the XM. Do me a favor, and try plugging your XM into the Uconnect box. It seems that is how Dodge expects us to run a CD changer. I am interested in the XM Direct kit myself, and I am REALLY interested in you trying it out for me since you already have one!

well here is the deal, I tried pluggin it into just about everywhere and another member on the forum tried it on the U-Connect box as well with no results. What I ended up doing was installing it into the wiring under the passenger kick panel where the sirus would connect; it works fine now however I had to install a switch that kills the XM when the u-conect is active, not my idea of perfect but it works, only problem is twice now I have had my gauges go nuts and a no bus message come up on the odometer for no reason... .

MCrossley, I have a RB4 and UConnect IF I buy a RB1 and just swap it with the existing RB4 is that all there is to it for everything to work properly.
