Norcal Diesel Meeting

Just wondering if there are any plans for a (local to me) event in the next few months? I know there have been meets in IA and WI somewhat recently, but I'm curious if anything will be coming up. Thanks!

Mark

The last gathering I can remember was the KDP fix deal at my place. I am hoping for an event somewhere in the 'Cities. Maybe you want to sponsor it?

There is talk of something in the works. If you want to drop me your email, I'll forward the info to you.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Feel free to contact me at -- email address removed --. It's about time we did something for our beloved CTD's in this state!! :D

Mark,

I just forwarded an email to you about a mod day we're planning in Kenosha, WI. It's quite a haul for you, but now you'll know about it. I didn't know your email changed. I guess you haven't been getting our info lately. I updated you on our list.

mod day in kenosha??? sounds interesting, could you (fireman dave)send me some info also? i have been trying to work out a dyno day in wausau, at K&S Fuel Injection for my two trucks and some powerchokes, but it would be nice to get some other tdr members from my area together on the dyno. i am new to the tdr and would like to actually meet some people.

Right now it's slated for the weekend of the 5th and 6th of October. I may or may not have mods to do myself. But since my neighbor just got a 12 valve, I feel that I need to go back to school. And Kenosha seems to be the right place.

Oct. what?

I suppose I could check my e-mail this week but this works too. Count me in for any weekend in October as I found some pennies under my floor mats this summer and bought gauges. I think it's my turn to make chili as well.....

I'll be on vacation for a couple of weeks

I'll be on vacation for a couple of weeks, but everything should be OK for the weekend of the 5th and 6th... I hope that the weather will be decent(sounds like lots of things to do). I was thinking maybe a bon-fire Saturday night(have some crappy wood to get rid of anyway). If you guys have any other ideas, let me know. But I'll be off-line for a couple of weeks.

Wings?

I suppose I could handle a few dead chicken body parts soaked in nuclear waste. I'll make some bread to ease the heat a bit, those wings do get a bit fierce.

Have fun on your trip John, if I can get a sitter for Victor can I have his spot in the truck?:-laf

Hey Grizz, how far north are you (just curious)? Wausau is fairly central to everyone but the Iowans, keep us informed about your dyno plans. Any good eatin' and meetin' places in Wausau? Sounds like you have a bit o power in that ol '91, I would like to check it out.

loookin' for more pennies.....

Didn't make it on the TDR last night - was out fightin' fire!

Of course you're invited, Adam! Sorry you can't make it, though.

Grizz: I'll email you some info.

WINGS!!!!!

I'll pass this time, that level of radiation overcame my lead shielding. HULL BREACH!!!

5th & 6th sound good, I'll double check with my entertainment director to be sure...

I should have an item or two to install. Just put the 370's in yesterday, WEEE HAAA!

nixter,

don't know wausau to good, i am actually an hours drive northwest in medford. i'll have to talk to the guys at K&S i find more info on dining and meeting spot.

i'll have my 91 smoker at the dyno run, but for kenosha i'll have to bring my 96 dually. it needs a governor kit, (good project teaches everyone to have a steady hand). the front wheel bearing are full of mud from mudracing season, and have no cash to go through it yet.

but if i figure right kenosha is a five hour trip for me, any good hotels in the area???

ANYONE WHO WANTS TO DYNO RUN pick a good weekend to do it. i am free any weekend, but we need to pick a day for the long haul guys.

Dyno?

Let me know what you guys plan for a dyno day/weekend/whatever. Will it be after Kenosha, I assume? I will be at Johns to put in a TWD LOW kit and maybe injectors, time and help permitting.

New record maybe? Wally19 and I set the precedent for changing injectors at Muncie. I think it was around 1:20 on a hot engine. Who's gonna try to take the champs? We can use jtisdale's truck. They'll just have to work around his randomly exploding batteries. :D

minneapolis

I would love to get together w/ some real trucks in MN. I have spotted a few trucks w/ gauges, but don't know of any TDR members in the area... calling all MN cummins
