how many of y'all have wife/kids?? I am single, but think it would be fun to have something like a campout and a BBQ... what do y'all think? I BBQ year round, so its all good. I know not all people do, but thats their loss...



Rudy's sounds good, not the greatest BBQ, but the good places are a little ways from the SA area... Luling, Gonzales, Lockhart, Mason, Llano, Taylor, you know. . all the top places Texas Monthly named (Been to all the top 5). Rudy's it is. Central location, or close enough. . maybe this summer I will have a get together/pool party/backyard BBQ here at the house. Till then, Rudy's it is.

I agree about Rudys not being the best BBQ, but I will probably be so distracted with the trucks & folks that it won't matter what it tastes like. I suggested Rudys because if Jim Avery & I are in NW SA, you & cpeters are up 281, & JCattertont is in Borne it seemed like a good local. If we start having get togethers on a regular basis maybe we should have them at a different restaurant every time. I'd be up for that. Food is good .



About the wife & and kiddos. Yep! One wife, two boys. A three year old & a two month old. I'm learnin' them boys right too. The two month old will be able to say diesel before mom or dad. But anyways camping is probably out of the question until my kids get a little older.



Looking forward to seeing everybody on January 10th.
