Transfering water?

I will be going to San Antonio to pick up the wifes new ride, At least that is what I am letting her think. I plan on making a vacation of it and need some recommendations for things to do with kids under four years old.

You can visit the Alamo, go to the river walk. The Zoo is pretty neat. You should go to the hall of horns and the Lone Star Brewery. Not too far from there is a Wildlife Safari thing. I am sure there are other places but this will give you an idea of things to do.

They say the annual lizard and jackrabbit roundup in Waco is a fun gathering - and the Armadillo barbecue in Austin is about this time of year... :p ;) :D

Fiesta Texas? I think that is the name of the big amusement park. Take the kids down to the riverwalk and go for a boat ride. They have open barges that cruise down the river. There are a lot of riverside restaurants. It will be hot so bring cool clothes and sunscreen. San Antonio is a neat place, you guys should have fun.

How about the TEXAS RANGERS museum in Waco. Not too far from San Antonio and a really nice place to see.

If you have time head down to New Braunfels,Tx and float down the Guadalupe river on a inner tube. A cooler fits nicely wedged into a spare tube. No glass containers though.

They also have whats called the schlitterbaum-they funnel river water into a chute to make you go faster-rapids style. Also find a German bakery for some good kolaches.
