Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Anyway to adjust the FUEL pedal?

Ever since I got done with soundproofing and adding new carpeting in the inside of the truck, the fuel pedal (I got yelled at on another forum for calling it the GAS pedal) rubs against the carpet and wont go all the way to the floor.



Now, I looked underneath the dash and seen the pedal can be lifted up about 2-3 inches. Is there anyway to adjust the pedal so it comes up off the floor more?

Might try fabing a spacer between it and the firewall.

You can use some fishing equipment :-laf:-laf Add some split shot type weights on the cable to bring the pedal up,if you want to experiment first,use tywrap around the cable under the pedal first then you can just remove them easily

Second the tie strap deal. I did it with mine to raise mine up a tad for a different feel... ... ... Andy
