Good question KBL. I'm considering some form of aftermarket headlight with the projector lense so I can use HID bulbs properly. I noticed Geno's has ANZO's in both the regular and projector lense, and wondering myself if they are more than just cosmetic.

You wanting the Anzo's with the projector low beam, or just the regular halogen bulb lense model? Most of what I hear about putting HID's in a housing that was originally designed for a halogen bulb has been that the light pattern does not have an upper "cutoff" and the pattern is scattered too much rather than aimed. Blinding most oncoming drivers and not giving you the usable light where you want it, on the road. I was thinking the projectors are supposed to prevent that. Or should I say, they are supposed to be designed for HID's. I have seen a couple sets of the projector headlight replacements on eBay with the HID's included. Been thinking about trying a set. Would love to know if anyone else has. I just went through the debate of doing this on my 05 Deville which has 9006 bulbs, and opted to not do the HID's and went with a special bulb made by Toshiba called a HIR bulb. Their 9012 is supposed to be the same as a regular 9006. I didn't do the HID's (the real ones with the ballasts and all) because of what I heard about them not being designed for the halogen lenses.

I was thinking the projector would be for intown and highway driving. The HID would be for when no other traffic was around so I am not too concerned about "blinding other drivers".

I was thinking about halogens in the projectors and HID for the high beams. Adjustable high beams would be nice.

just bought some black anzo projectors for my 04. baffled to know where the side turn signals went? there is no indication for the car beside you that you are not paying attention or preoccupied and are coming on over to join them in their lane. aside from that i was under the impression that they were all led. not so. just the goofy halo around the lights that is supposed to pass for parking lighting. not impressed. real pretty on a parking lot, not real functional.

perhaps if i could adjust them i could properly tell you. but no, the bottom adjusters stripped while i was trying to aim them from the trees, back down to the road. so i would say i found fitment a problem as well. i'd say they'd look real neat at a sema car show but in real world conditions... not so much. really sucks because i feel now that i've broken those adjusters there's no way in hell i'm getting my money back. some peeps might love em i guess, but i'm just not as impressed as i thought i was gonna be.

and no i think even if they were adjusted properly i dont think i could see a deer in the ditch near as well as i could have with stock lighting. i had e'm pretty close to right before the plastic threads sheared off. like driving by spotlight.

Thanks for the input Myates. I guess I'm staying with stock. I, probably like you, was looking to improve the light output over the stock setup. Wanting more performance rather than "bling".
