When the 3rd Gen's were coming out, I was going to try to buy a 2nd Gen CTD before they were gone. But I went to a special Dodge show/display at the LA fairgrounds, and they had a 3rd Gen truck complete except it was missing the body so you could see the new chassis. I was so impressed, I waited and saved up and bought the 04.5, when the HO's were allowed in California. If I were to see a 4th Gen like that, I don't know if would pull the trigger and spend 60K.
