Sad story

Vaughn, I think the Weld Racing Wheels you have sitting in Rob Hanson's garage are light years ahead in looks over the ones you linked to! Additionally, I personally think they are one of the very best looking wheels I've EVER seen!
Just get a set of nice fender flares (Mopar or Xenon) and install those bad boys!
If they would work they would have been on by now
The offset is totally wrong on them, Weld insisted they were right for my truck before I bought them and now that I own them and they don't fit right I call Weld back and they say "yeah, they changed the offset starting with 2000 and we don't have anything with the new offset. "
I put one on and it sticks out too far. It sticks out about 1" beyond the edge of the fender *without* a tire mounted on there. If I wanted my truck to fit in with the Mexi trucks around here I would have gone ahead and thrown them on
The backspacing for the 2000+ is 6" and offset = 40mm. These wheels are 5. 25" backspacing and 10mm offset.
They'd look great on '99 and older Rams, we tried one on Emily's Ram a few weeks ago.
So John or anyone else wanting a slick set of Weld Monsoons I'll make ya a deal. Luckily I got them used for a good price so if I can sell them I won't be hurting too bad. But that is why they are in Hanson's garage, I thought they had a better shot of finding a new Ram on that side of the hill than here.
They would work on 2000-up 4x4 rigs for anyone running large tires/mudders and run a lift kit and need more positive offset for clearance.
I am told the new trucks have the same offset as the 2000+ so at least they are being consistent.
