Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) APPS code 0122

My was truck parked for few days for the holidays, then I got in and I got a check engine light and that pesky code po122 keeps showing up(3rd time) although truck running by all indications outstanding put 45 miles on it with both city and highway with zero problems. Anybody out there got any ideas? I certanily don't wish to buy a new APPS unit but I don't wish to get stuck somwhere in the boonys either. TIA 6naline01 ... ... ... Mike:

This keeps happening does anyone have any idea? It seems to happen about ever 2 to 3 weeks. Could the Edge EZ be causing this? Please advise,when it throws the codes 0122 & 1693 the truck is running excellent

been there mine went at 300,000 kms. sometimes happens at a certain speed,contacts wear or get corroded . there are some things people have tried with varying success. voltage check at pcm and apps,trying to clean contacts. look at threads about apps in the search. lots of reading there.
