Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Today on the way to work, maintaining speed, truck acted like the key was shut off and turned back on, made it to work, while at work did a search on TDR for this problem. Decided I would check for codes and check connection to APPS. Left work truck started its surging while maintaining speed. I decided to see if it did this with the cruise on surge wasnt as noticable when I turned the cruise off truck ran fine. ?????. Got home and started digging into things, Code 0122 Low voltage to APPS. I unplugged and plugged the connector for the APPS. While I had the throttle cable cover off I noticed my throttle cable was fraying. Did another search. Looks like this was a problem on the 12 Valves but not on the 24 Valve trucks. I will unhook batteries and re-calibrate the APPS tomorrow. Truck has 57,000 miles. Has anyone else had a throttle cable problem or an APPS act like this ? Thanks in advance for any input.
