Is It Possible For The Apps To Act Up Then Become Ok? At Times Truck Is Fine Then Others I Have To Play W/ The Throttle To Get It To Shift From 1st To 2nd. Say Its Bad For A Couple Days Then It Will Be Fine For A Wk Or So Then Act Up Again? Only Thing I Can Figure Is The Apps. Truck Has 58,000 Miles On It. any Input Is Greatly App. !truck Has Dtt Trans In It I Know Its Not That.

yes it can be apps. however first clean every ground on the truck. there are lots of them. if you have a manual, you can find the location. apply silacone grease to all the grounds after cleaning. remove the plug at the apps, use electrical contact cleaner first, then apply silicone grease. this will sometimes cure the problem. hope this helps. good luck .

Could be the APPS, a bad ground, a bad connection, or a bad solenoid in the trans. I would call DTT or your installer and se if they will help trouble shoot it.

What was it doing before you replaced the solenoid? The same thing?

Its not unheard of to go thru a couple of them things to find a good one.

How about the band adjustment? Just throwing things out that it could be. Check your batteries also and make sure they are good. Weird things happen when there is a bad battery in the mix.

batteries are the originals

the thing that is funny is that for a week or two it is fine. then out of the blue it will act up. why isn't it doing it all the time?
