Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
Hi all.
First post as a new diesel owner and TDR member. This weekend was my first trip towing my camper and I noticed the torque converter problem that some folks have been stressing over (locking in and out of both in and out of OD. Anyway, I did the unhook the battery and let it sit thing and then after hooking up the batteries, I actuated the pedal... . instant repair of my problem!
Not only did it cure my lockup problem but I noticed it kicks into passing gear when it should now (tromping the pedal). Before I noticed it wasn't quite right. I think the APPS probably never had been calibrated since new and it needed it. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed. I can't even MAKE it act up like it was doing before
