Started having a problem with the truck stalling out when I put it in gear when the truck is warmed up and the outside temperature is above 65. Did a search and the problem seems to be low APPS/TPS voltage at the PCM on the orange wire with the blue stripe. Tried doind a ECM reset and APPS calibration which didn't help any. In the manual they are real specific about not adjusting the set screws that look like they woul raise the idle speed and voltage. Anybody know of a good reason NOT to try this besides the manual says not to? Can the voltage be reset by the dealer through the PCM or ECM or is the only fix to buy an EXPENSIVE replacement APPS. Once the truck is in gear it runs great, throttle is smooth no blips or other problems. Thanks!

There is no way for the dealer to "reset" voltage produced by the TPS. The acceptable voltage is 2. 4 to 5. 0 volts. It sounds as if you are gonna need to replace it.
