Competition arb 70 locker converted to fit a Dana 60?

to the guys pulling with a front locker, i have heard but i dont know if it is real, can you convert a dana 70 arb air locker to fit a dana 60? Some say it will fit, and you can just change the inside drive gears... but does the carrier fit? i own a dana 70 and wish to either sell it or convert it? can it be done?? let me know either way... thanks guys

I own it already and would like to save the cash if i could( or if i could sell it it would be better) it worked really well in the 70 and the usability is great. thanks if you know i could really use the advice.

I know its money, but have you considered something like an eaton e locker?

ya, are they better? i have heard differing opinion, including a front locker will just bind and break the 60. I had hopped i could just modify the 70 to fit then i would have the ability to lock it, but then unlock for drivability, my front right wheel stops spinning. I have been told to weld it as well, since i have a 4x4 posi system ( front axle disconnect via pto style cable) as then i could have a locker that was solid but still releaseable cheap... not too keen on that. Any suggestions on the conversion??

why not sell it for close to new price and then buy one for a 60... .
