I will be looking at these also.

My first question would be how

they will be on the road with just

normal driving.

Well, darnit, something else I'm gonna have to eventually buy for my truck...

In my opinion, ARB has always designed and built high quality accessories and lockers.

Well for me the compressor will eventually power carli long travel air bags, a pac brake, the ARB locker, and maybe air horns... woohoo more stuff for my truck!!!

Ya already have the Nathan P5's ready , compressor and tank ready to mount Oo.

I am a 4 wheel guy. The other units are proven as well. The detroit is automatic, the auburns and eatons require 12v. no air line or air compressor.

The ARB is good, but IMHO, the addition of an airline and compressor is just an additional aggravation. I've had 2 detroits and 3 auburns over the years.

Yes the compressor and vacum pumps have been a nightmare for most of the exhaust brake guys so I do understand what you are saying

From what I have read, the most problem part of an ARB is the leaks they develop internally... the compressor runs constantly, or they leak bad enough the locker won't stay engaged.

I have seen advertisements in several mags in the last couple months that Eaton makes a helical LS unit for the 11. 5 also.

BILLVO, if you mean the Eaton Tru Trac, I have one and it works as advertised. . locks as soon as you spin, open for going around corners. BTW, I noticed your hp #'s in your sig for the '05. Is that stock with the Smarty Jr?
