Nope, paid my mechanic. If you order the Tru Trac, make sure you get new bearings. The salesman there told me that since I only had 35,000 miles, the bearings should be fine. Well, they probably were, but they get mangled when you take the old rearend out, and my mechanic had to order new bearings anyway, delaying the project. Just a heads-up.

BILLVO, if you mean the Eaton Tru Trac, I have one and it works as advertised. . locks as soon as you spin, open for going around corners. BTW, I noticed your hp #'s in your sig for the '05. Is that stock with the Smarty Jr?

Yep the smarty Jr on 100hp setting on a stocker other than psm intake mod with amsoil dropin filter and unmuffed.

What did the truetrac set you back? I have a used factory limited slip I picked up cheap but haven't installed yet due to all the negative info I see about them not being a good traction aid. I have someone I could potentially sell it to to pay for the truetrac.

I want to say $500-550

ARB 11.5 AAM locker has been installed

One of the first ARB RD 139 air lockers has just been installed. Apparently the factory shipped the first units to the states with a bracket missing. The bracket holds the air line in place on one of the bearing caps. M. I. T. Drivetrain Specialists in El Cajon, California was able to get the bracket by next day air and the installation is complete. Surprisingly the parts list did not include the bracket, but it was shown on one of the installation photos.

The difference between the factory limited slip and the ARB is amazing. One tire on wet grass or water on the street will no longer spin. Looking for an opportunity to hook up to the back of a Chevy and pull him backwards.

So far the ARB is working great. I had the front installed and had to wait almost 6 months for the rear ARB to be released for production. I installed the pump, air lines, switches and electrical myself. Could not find a good place to mount the air pump under the hood, decided to lengthen the electrical harness and locate the air pump in the truck bed beside the auxiliary fuel tank. Put the switches on the dash cut out under the radio by cutting the plastic box behind the face plate and bending a piece of aluminum to fit the curve of the dash. The aluminum plate was covered with a piece of upholstery close to the texture of the dash. Had the Lockers professionally installed

Had the front put in 6 months ago and the rear 2 weeks ago. Works great an no problems. Nothing like pulling a Chevy a backwards while his tires smoke.

Nice set up thanks for the report. Did they secure the lower part of that air line. Looks like it's rubbing on the housing.
