Arbritration Complete-Problem Child is Gone

Hey gang thanks for your information about the arbitration process- After we filed the paperwork DC called and made an offer to buy back #ad
They agreed that there was a problem and offered 25% off on the usage fee because I wanted a new cummins- #ad
I took delivery of a 2001 3500 ETH friday and will start bombing( yes hvac!!!) as money allows thanks again!!!!!!!!

Congradulations I did the arrbitration thing also. it is a slow painfull experiance. Main thing is keeping good paperwork and you will win if you don't give in to soon like they want you to. I hung in their and forced arrbitrator to dicide and got it all back even money paid in intrest. Had an attorny ready wasn't settleing for any thing less.

Tuffram- Actually the arbitration process was pretty painless- My dealer supplied my with the service history, and I had my reciepts- so I filled out the arbitration form (a booklet in your owners pamphlets) sent it to the address for my state (return reciept requested) the arbitrator set the date for the hearing, sent a written letter and phoned to give us the choice to speak at the hearing (we chose to)and had also forwarded our file to the regional office of dc for their review and to see if a resolution could be made before the hearing- DC called and we talked about the problems and they agreed "yes this truck had multiple problems" and made us the offer to buy back or swap the vehicle with a new one-(Still Awake #ad

) We had to pay a usage fee- dc gave us a 25% discount for staying with dc ( Powerchoke or Unduramac not in my yard #ad
) and if we wanted to upgrade (leather- eth- 4x4) we just payed the differance in msrp of a 01 similarly equiped and what we wanted- we specified which dc dealer we WANTED to work with found the truck we wanted sent the numbers to the arbitrator and they gave us the FINAL $$$ amount and wa la I've got a new truck-
