I am looking for some type of arch assembly that will mount in the stake pockets behind the cab for the purpose of mounting a mini emergency / warning lightbar. The lightbar I plan to use is about 22" long.
I really don't want a headache rack because it obstructs the rear window, and I don't want to mount the light bar on the roof.
I saw one of these on a county highway pickup once, but couldn't get a good look.
Any ideas? Thanks.

I've seen wings for 5th wheels that mount in the front stake pockets. It comes up each side and goes across the top. Wing mounts on top of it. It does not restrict view from the back window and keepd you from having to mount the wing on the roof. If you could find this bracket on its own, or have someone build you one, it would probably be what you are looking for.

Light bar

I like my BackRack for lightbar mounting It's served very well and it has many options for equipment mounting (antennas, spot lights, etc) check them out

What Tom said… The vertical posts aren't in your view line and the wing straps are pretty thin - I don't really notice them in the rear view. Backracks mount into the holes already on the front stake pockets. LOTS of accessories. ;)
