Added a turnoverball on my 03

I own the 25c8. 11 and I am very pleased with the fit and finish. Everything is tight and works as designed. It was the best camper for me and what I was looking for. I like the construction over some others but I have never looked at an Artic Fox to make a direct comparison. With the reputation of Artic Fox on this site I would say you couldn't go wrong with either.

The only problem I ever had was a small leak at a window in the sleeper, it warped an interior shelf before I noticed it. A little RTV fixed the problem. I've seen a few Bigfoot campers and would go that route if money wasn't a factor. The models with a separate shower for sure, don't care to hose down the potty and sink to clean up.

Alpenlite camper

We have a Alpinlite Odessa camper it has been a very good camper. It is a `1995 and we have put about 200,000 miles on it, The frame is still as good as new (Welded Aluminum frame) and we have had almost no problems with it. On the other hand we prevosly owned a Northern lite and had TERRIBLE LUCK WITH IT :mad: We bought it new and before the year was up the rear door frame had to be re glassed. The sewer pipes broke from flexing They were fixed at the factory and they installed a air conditioner. About 3 months later the air conditioner started to tear through the roof!!!! To add insult to injury the company refused to fix the last problems because we had owned it for more than a year (about 3 months more). We were lucky to find a dealer that would take it on trade. I would reccomend a Aluminum frame if you are going to keep it for a long time. IMHO

Bigfoot dealer showed us the "anniversary edition" with Corian countertop and leather dinette. It was a 2500 10. 6 with everything but genset and solar panel for 31,000 out the door, including tax etc. even mounting straps from the frame!

I'm not sure that was a good price, but I thought it was worth it considering the fit/finish on the unit.

Don't think we're going to be able to get it though. Still working on the new truck first. :{
