Competition are 6.0 Powerstrokes supposed to be quick?

got in a little tangle with a 6. 0 the other day on the highway... he was straight piped, and I'm guessing he had a box or chip of some sort because it was blowing smoke, and he had a little digital readout box on the dash near the driver's a-pillar...



put a few trucks on him in 4th from ~60-75... I let out and waved as he came by... we turned onto another highway, and he nailed it getting on... I had it in 5th at ~60, saw him go, and I rugged it... took a second for the smoke to clear and for my truck to start moving, but we were both in the left lane standing on it. I came from about 10 lengths back to knockin' on his back door pretty hard I went ahead and got out of it vs. ramming his rear bumper!

My nephew has a 6. 0 4x4 supercab, he runs a 13. 98 at right around 95mph. All he done is the Edge box, stock trans, not bad in my book. I barely beat him with my 97.

somone on the dieselstop had 6L in the 12's that is before he blew his head b/c of to much timing (nitrous)

like I said, I was surprised... I figured he would have pulled me or at least been right with me... maybe the box was on a low setting or something?

I dont have anyone to play with around here . I drive 60 miles to work and everyday I wait impatiently for a Ford, chevy or dodge to come by that wants to play..... never any luck

I have a buddy at work that has 6. 0 with edge juice/attatude 4" turbo back and auto tarnny I have ridden in it and is seems quick but another guy at work has ridden in both our trucks and he thinks mine is faster. Maybe it is time to call him out! We could do my g-teck on both and see, i guess. But with my six speed I SPEND MOST OF THE TIME SHIFTING VS HIS AUTO.

i WOULD NOT HESITATE PUTTING 10 K of towing weight and race with a load I know I'd kick a$$

yeah, from a dead stop, he woulda walked all over me... my truck's a pig out of the hole, and I refuse to break something in the name of stoplight glory... these things are too expensive to fix for my blood!!
