Any Red Green show fans out there?

Know that by the end of today. Go Bill Elliot. Even has his old #9 back.

You know, between the ads and the good showing in qualifying, it's great to see all that Dodge pride again. Then I think what a shame it is that Benz is running Chrysler Corp. into the ground. Hey, it's starting!

Go Dodge!

If Bill E goes from the pole to the rear of the pack... and stays there, DODGE needs to execute him as he crawls from the car at the end of the race, then run a driver wanted ad.

Not too impressed with Bill E.

If it hadn't been for half the pack getting clobbered he'd be in the back 10 instead of the first 10.

Doesn't look to me like he can drive -- when it get's tight and racey he flies to the back.

Made a few left turns in the clay in my youger years. There's a world of difference between time trials and traffic. The new aero rules inspire traffic, dicing, and (unfortunately) taking risks.
Guess that's why they call it r-a-c-i-n-g #ad

I, too, wasn't impressed with Mr. Elliott. But then we've got a whole season ahead of us.
Go Dodge. #ad

I was very impressed with sterling marlin's driving and how the announcer kept saying dodge had the fastest cars out there.
I hope Earnhardt is ok even though he got a big taste of his own medicine.

All of those years of experience told Elliott where to have that car. It looks like it paid off. He has played his cards the same for years at Daytona... let the young-uns wipe out and slide to the front. He had a lot of good company with him who just barely got caught up in that mess. If you can't run in the top 5 it is good to be at the back until the last pit stop. He was in the mid twenties moving up when the wreck occurred... restarted 15th after the cleanup and finished 5th. Dodge will be more than happy with that effort... CJ

CJ, I shared your opinion until seeing Elliott bail on Sterling when they should have been cooperating like the DEI (Earnhardt's team). DEI was staying lined up and moving to the front, Sterling was leading the charge on the outside for Dodge but Elliott didn't have the balls to stay in the fight and fell back. If Earnhardt hadn't taken out the middle of the top ten in last half mile Elliott wouldn't have finished top ten. Compton was charging and probably could have -- despite getting stuck behind Elliott and pushed back by Elliott's lack of nerve.

Yep, I'm ****** at Elliott -- Sterling, Elliott, and Compton were all reeling them in and Elliott was in the middle; then drove back Compton when Elliott felt some heat and fell back.

Staying back and letting the others fight it out only works as an excuse when you show the nerve to ante up at the end.

Elliott showed he isn't a team player.

dodge is back , and sterling marlin is our savior, he had the FASTEST car on that track today . i was at the race today and even my wife who HATES everything about my car OBSESSION was excited . it was the best race i have seen , this was my first attended live nascar race and its got me totally hooked .

on a sad note the passing of dale earnhart is a great loss for ALL of motorsports . i saw that accident and didn't think it was that bad , didn't find out about his passing till i got off the plane 6 hours after the race . though i was a memebr of the anyone but 3 fan club, my families deepest sympathy goes to his family and friends .
