Billet Fuel Filter Cap?

Fuel Pressure ? Please read

Thinking about some Jammer 4's to replace my BD3's are they really any good as compared to EDM's or should I hold out alittle longer? Trying to take my ETH to the 500hp mark, I think I have enough turbo I just need more fuel, but there is a fine line on the stock eth pumps, and will I be able to tow 10K and under with the Jammers, now I can with the BD3's. Any suggestions...

Thanks Jared

I think the Jammers are EDM honed, and I would say they'd easily put more down more power and less smoke than your Bullydog 3s.

If your lift pump is doing fine with BD 3 injectors then it should do fine with the Jammer 4s since they probably don't use much more fuel (if any) although if you're shooting for 500hp a stock fuel system likely isn't going to be up to the task.

Same deal with towing, should be able to if you do with your Bullydogs.

Found out that my BD3's are actually BD4's so the Jammer 4's are not really a step up in power... and Vaughn I have a FASS pump so fuel aint an issue... maybe I should try 5's?

EDMs

I don't have the Jammers but I do have 130hp EDMs with an HTB2 (62mm wheel) and they burn much cleaner than my stock turbo and 80hp honed injectors. I haven't towed heavy with them, but I a have to basically lug the engine to get it to smoke. I would think your Drag Comp would give you enough fueling adjustability to allow for a pretty big injector.

My only regret is that I didn't go bigger, maybe a 150 or 180hp injector.

The stock ETH injection pump won't support an injector over 150hp-- it can't keep up with the flow rates.

Stepping from a mach 3 or 3. 5 to a mach 5 will give you a LOT more smoke, a LOT higher EGTs, and not much more power. If you are shooting nitrous or something, this isn't much of a concern. But for diesel only, stay under 140hp or so with the stock HO VP. The SO VP (-27) can support MUCH larger injectors, all the way to Mach 6.

Mach 3. 5s for a stock HO VP are the hot ticket. Hot Rod VP means all this is out the window and injectors 200hp+ can be run with the right supporting cast.

This comes from conversations I have had with Don M.

I've installed lots of jammer injectors and haven't had an unhappy customer, the smoke isn't an issue, temp are lower than extrude honed injectors, and the mileage seems to be up when guys were able to keep there foot out of the throttle. :D

i bought one of the early sets i believe ...

got mine for $425 :-laf

from the HVAC internet auction

they have 20,000+ miles on 'em

absolutely love 'em

no smoke if i'm carefull

lots o' smoke if you get too close ;)
