Are our ball joints this hard to replace?

Check out this short thread from the 2nd gen forum. I wonder if they're as much of a PITA on the 3rd gen trucks? Anyone have any experience doing it yourself?

My dealer had a hard time with mine. In the quest to quell the front end vibrations they agreed to put on adjustable ball joints (chevy part). They could not get one of the bearings off and ruined it in the process. I did not participate and don't know the exact process but I bet you need press's and pullers.
