I have read on numerous threads now (most recently the thread about mileage upon delivery) where people refer to paying 40k for their trucks. Are people REALLY paying 40k? I went to every Dodge dealership in town before I bought my truck and the only 1 on the lot that approached 40k had a 4 or 6 inch lift, 35's, fender flares, and alloy wheels. Basically it was a fully loaded truck with another (according to the sticker) $5500 in options (wheels, lift etc).
I don't consider myself to be any sort of an expert negotiator but I got mine for $29k and I THINK the only options I don't have are leather and an automatic.
Just curious.
