Are people REALLY paying 40k???

One thing i noticed is pricing varies a bit by region, I'm in Miami Florida and it seems to be more expensive here than other places, to much people with money to spare on new vehicles. The people down here change cars and trucks every 6-12 months and they pay dealers high prices near msrp. they basically don't want to deal with if you want invoice pricing they 'll give the run around cause some rich idiot will come and pay what they want. some dude i know payed 47 or 49K for a 2005 F350 4x4 dually lariat, thats about full MRSP! Hell go to south beach and ypu'll 300,000-500,000 dollar cars like nothing, last night went out to SB for a spin with my bIG oL DUALLY and counted about 5 or 6 Ferraris 1 or 2 lambos, and 1 or 2 Bentleys plus i don't know how many HOT WOMWEN.

MSRP $41,500 out of Dave Smith's door $32,700. That was before I got raped at the CA DMV when I got it home. Just got the bill for 2005, registration still $526 and the truck's a year old.

I don't want to rub it in, but thank God we repealed our outragious vehicle registration of few years ago, now I only pay $37. 00, instead of $500 +. Oo.

mine wase stickered at 43,000 and I got it for 40,000 cuz they paid my 96 power stroke all the way off I just didn't get all the rebates but I'am happy with it just to see the ford go away it was nickle and diming me to death

Here in CA we get bent over and greased tax wise; Sky high Vehicle reg, sales tax, income tax, and property tax if your not on the ground floor of Prop-13, plus many other so called fees (disguise word for tax). I paid CA DMV 0ver $3500 for tax and reg when I first registered it. If I would have bought it in CA I would have paid close to MSRP (these guys would not deal on the 600 when it was new) plus the $3500 for a total of well over $40,000.

Mine was Stickered at about $48,500. 00 and added a remote starter, and a few other goodies Out the Door with Taxes and Reg. was $56k & change. Paid low 40's w/ rebates and employee discount

picked mine up yesterday, final to me inlcuding tt&l = $41k. SLT with Sentry Key alarm system, & dealer installed front and rear leather. Has infinity 6-CD 7 spkr radio, fold flat storage, light group, tow pkg, heated tow mirrors, etched windows and a partridge in a pear tree!

Now that I am retired I might have to move back to Oregon lived there during the fuel shortage of the 70s



It appears to me that a fair deal is around 18 to 20% below MSRP at this time.

My 06 4x4 Laramie, Cummins, 8' bed, extended cab, Auto stickered at $51,000 and I paid $44,000 and that includes 6% PA sales tax. All options including moonroof, Navigation, rear slider window. The only things I didn't order was rear seat DVD and the 4:10 rear. I keep my trucks for about 200K miles in about 8 years. Great truck.

I have an 03 SLT, 4wd loaded. sticker was around 45000, I bought it with 6000 miles. I paid 32000 plus taxes,I though I did rather well on it they had it listed for almost 40000 when I started to deal for it.
