Are people REALLY paying 40k???

Up here in Canada these things are quite a bit more expensive.



Mine stickered for $60,800.



There are no incentives, rebates or anything on the diesel trucks due to the stupid high demand for them up here, which doesn't force incentives, etc.



You can still swing a deal for a little over invoice, but that's about it.

Paid 42,000. 00CAN for mine 6 years ago on feb 19,priced a new one out for fun/Mrs would like one --- but we're eying a boat too so we will see----truck price 60,000. 00CAN+++ fairly loaded. A 25ft/3 tube pontoon boat with Mercury 225Varado/with upper deck,loaded 45000. 00CAN. Don't really need another truck but when the Mrs supports your interest in a new boat--- YOU TAKE NOTEOo. Oo. Oo.

Its looking more and more like a good thing to do----A good friend of mine bought a fully loaded 2007 Armada in north Dakota last month for 28000. 00US and drove it back home here. The only things that he had to do up here was pay 6% goods and services tax,and a few minor fed cost/taxes plus have the dealer up here activate the daytime running lights----oh and have it inspected too at the dealer. Sooooo all in all with the exchange/duty/taxes/dealer stuff and air fare it maybe cost him under 40000. 00Can. The same vehicle up here is about 50-55000. 00Can . With our next big purchase most likely the boat i'm going to look into doing the same thing and see if i can save a few buck----just more hassle/time consuming but it can/may save some $$$Oo.

If it will save you that much I'd get it in the US. If any one else you know wants to buy a Dodge truck, tell them to consider Dave Smith in Kellogg, Idaho. Much better prices.
