aftermarket 24v valve springs?

I guess it depends on how long you plan to keep your truck. I've had mine eleven years and am not planning on selling it any time soon. So silicone hoses seemed like a good investment a few years ago. There were 23 hoses for my 95 auto. I think the standards have a few less but still in the 400 plus dollars for the complete set including the intercooler hoses. I've seen them at PDR and Mr. Bob's. I got Mr. Bob's because I wanted to replace every hose on the truck. They are sky blue and look good as well. Never have had a hose blow and hopefully these will continue the trend. :)

Silicone Hose Sources

Howdy, Can you provide address/Phone for Mr. Bob or PDR? Need to replace hoses on my 91 Dodge. No-one has anything like silicone replacement hoses around Colorado that I have found. Thanks, Greg

Just put a set on a 12 valve today. Mr Bobs hoses come out better than the OE factory hoses price wise, and will not break down like the OE hoses do. And the 3rd Gen hoses are coming soon ;)

One thing on the silicone boost hoses, I had the stock hoses, and I was always popping off the lower boost hose by the radiator at about 35 PSi... .

With the new silicone hoses, I go to 40 PSI with my new Hybrid turbo, and the hoses don't pop off.

I got the set at Mr. Bobs also

Looks Mr Bobs has quite a selection of hoses for our beloved Dodge CUMMINGS :{ .

Still the products do look very nice and very complete.

Time to change radiator hoses etc. Are the silicone hoses worth the price. Who has the best price on the hose kits?

I would say no. They are not worth the money. My OEM hoses have been on the truck for 11 years and I think I'll get a few more out of them. Perhaps if you have very high boost pressures and are actually blowing out the intercooler hoses, the silicone may be worth it. If you are blowing the ends off you need better hose clamps.

I still have my originals too. Also have towing included on the insurance :D

Want a shock? Call your stee. . stee... , uh, dealer tomorrow and price out a set of replacement OEM's. Then decide if silicone's aren't a better deal.

The SPA's and Stock replacments where basically a wash...

For instance, the bottom intercooler hoses (the 90ish degree ones) are $180 each from the dealer... .

I like my hoses... ...

I have the SPA set that I got through a group buy quite some time ago. They have held up well and still look brand new. My original ones still looked good but after getting them off and inspecting them after 150k on them they were pretty flimsy and and I found a couple spots where they were extremely thin. Particularily the pass side lower boost boot. There was a sensor of some kind(ac I think) that had been rubbing it and it was almost worn through.

Spa

I have the SPA hose kit. They are top quality silicone hoses. I purchased an extra RED set. I will sell them for what I paid. E-mail me if anyone wants them. -- email address removed -- or 425-355-3915. Thanks, Sam. :)
