Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Are there any datalogger options?

I'm curious if there are any options to datalog or monitor sensor data using a laptop? I'd like to see all of the info that the ECM is seeing. It'd sure be helpful troubleshooting issues. I searched the entire TDR and didn't find anything of interest under "datalog". Anyone?

Looks good, and the price isn't too bad, but this part is a bit of a hangup:

"NOT COMPATIBLE WITH DODGE APPLICATIONS"







I couldn't determine if the "Inline" software was Dodge-compatible, but at $700-$800 it's out of the price ballpark anyway. Are there no aftermarket data monitoring solutions?

Interesting, I just read through both the QuickCheck II and III user manuals and both list cable options for "Dodge Pickup". If you go to the "Buy Online" option it says it's not compatible with Dodge. :shrug: I guess I'll have to send an email to Cummins.

Isn't there a triangle shaped plug near the engines ecm, three pins in it, not hooked up, that is a J1939 data link that could be used with Cummins diagnostic tools?
