We have a typical shower stall with the sliding doors - what a PITA! Does somebody make a shower door that sort'a opens like a french door does---I mean 2 doors?

The ones I used were called "frameless" and were spendy. I'll see if I can find an old invoice and get some contact info for you. Just a heads up though, the last job I did was a tub converted to a tile-pan shower and the doors cost $1800.

I found the invoice but the company contact was not listed. I guess I just marked it up and billed it.

If you do a search on framless shower doors you will find what you need.

Good luck, Mike

You can get a unit with a swinging door & stationary sidelight for not much more than a sliding unit. If you didn't mind having a stationary center post, it wouldn't be too hard to have swinging doors on each side. I did one a couple of years ago on an opening that was 8' wide- it had a 36" door on each end with a 24" stationary center glass panel.
